For over six years, I have taught and tutored students. I'm a full-time school teacher.I always like to start students off with what they are already knowledgeable about. Then, I assist with making new ideas more fun and interesting. I achieve this by finding out what motivates them. I do not believe individuals are limited by their abilities. Instead, they are limited by their opportunities. It is my goal to help equip students with the opportunity to succeed in school, and I would also like to help equip them with the tools needed to lead a successful life.The subjects that I tutor include the following: Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Arithmetic, Spanish 1-4, Psychology, Social Sciences, SAT Math, Verbal, Critical Reading, and Writing, Reading, Phonics, and ESL/ELL.I attended the University of California at Davis and UCLA and double majored in Psychology and Spanish.When I am not tutoring or working as a school teacher, I enjoy teaching and playing the guitar, kayaking, making furniture, and crafting origami.I am located in Hackettstown, NJ, and I look forward to working with you!
